A great place to live

Bucaramanga

A city situated in  the department of santander, Bucaramanga is a vibrant city offering a beautiful place to live with a “Small” city like feeling and while offering large green areas (Also known as the city of parks) has a more relaxed feeling you would not get from it’s counter parts like Bogota.

For me Bucaramanga is the place I would like to live in when in Colombia, yes there are other places , and other places which offer much more. Cartagena for example is where allot of expats go, but due to this it does make the cost of living much more.

Bucaramanga is also famous for it’s shoes, don’t ask me why I have no idea and I have not seen a tremendous amount of shoe shops for it to have this nickname.
As I have mentioned Bucaramanga has a city feeling but also because of it’s size and location it is easy to get a release from the hustle and bustle of city life.
There are plenty of golf courses, small resorts with swimming pools, football and many more activities surrounding the city to help get out an about.

The beautiful city as it is referred to also has an airport which makes life so much easier if you wish to jet of to another fabulous city in Colombia.

I shall expand this article with a more indepth one from someone who live in Bucaramanga.
